Toyota is a popular automobile manufacturer known for its line of family-friendly SUVs and sedans. The company also has a line of pickup trucks. While these vehicles tend to receive favorable reviews from consumers, it’s the newly introduced 2024 GR Supra 45th Edition that is getting everyone’s attention. From its curb appeal to its BMW-inspired interior and turbocharged engine, there’s a lot to take in.

The Exterior Design
The company’s flagship sports vehicle comes with a few changes in 2024. Halting manufacturing at the 900th model, the anniversary edition is only available for a short time. However, how long the vehicles are available at dealers’ lots also depends on buyers’ interest.
Like all of Toyota’s sports vehicles, the Supra has the GR symbol denoting the car’s high-performance level.
When it comes to available body colors, your options are limited to either bright orange or white paint. Regardless of the paint color, all models have a black graphic on the side and matte-black wheels. The spoiler is adjustable, but only manually.
Interior and Cargo Space
The Supra’s interior borrows several elements from the BMW Z4 which include the controls for the infotainment and switchgear systems.
While the interior is sleek and elegant, don’t expect to find a lot of extra space. The interior is slightly cramped, especially in the legroom department. Taller drivers may feel slightly cramped. The bubble roof gives you some headroom but it may not be enough to ensure complete comfort.
The vehicle’s cargo space is also limited. It can hold a few grocery bags or a couple of carry-on suitcases but don’t expect to fit a week’s worth or more of luggage in the performance car.
Performance Capabilities
The 45th Anniversary Edition Toyota GR Supra shines in the performance department. Drivers can choose between a 255-HP turbocharged four-cylinder engine or a 3.0 liter, six-cylinder 382-HP turbocharged motor. Vehicle pricing is partially based on the selected engine package. You can also choose between an automatic or manual suspension.
For comparison, the more budget-friendly four-cylinder engine can hit 60 miles per hour in 4.7 seconds. It’s a little faster than the comparable BMW Z4 with a 0 to 60 mph of around 5.0 seconds.
Whether you are shooting down a straightaway or tackling a corner, the steering is responsive at high and slower rates of speed. The suspension is evenly weighted and forgiving when it comes to bumps in the road, making the 2024 GR Supra ideal for track and daily driving.
Available Packages
Along with body paint options and engines, you have two options in each category. You can also add on the Driver Assist package. It comes with a lane assist function, monitors blind spots, and allows you to adjust the cruise control. While these features are nice to have, consumers often skip the packaging and added costs.
What every 2024 Toyota GR Supra 45th Anniversary Edition does come with is a one-year membership in the National Auto Sport Association and a one-day pass to one of the organization’s driving events.
